I have been posting a lot of blog posts that almost seem like diary entries recently. I should probably start creating more reviews and things that are actually interesting, but my mind has been doing a lot of thinking recently - yikes. I've heard that it helps your mind to share your thoughts.
I have always said that I don't have regrets. Yes, I have done some stupid sh*t, but I'll never live my life regretting dumb stuff which will only cause me to worry. The reason for this mainly comes from the way I love living by; 'everything happens for a reason'. Why live with a regret clinging onto your back for the rest of your life or why dawn on that event that happened into your life if it results in never-ending sadness.
But the reality is, life doesn't always work like that. Of course you may be able to see a positive side about that break-up you just went through because after all, you're one step closer to your true love. And of course you may be able to see a positive side about growing out of that favourite coat you wore every winter for the past three years because you can treat yourself to an even better one. But sometimes life can hand you the biggest plot twist you can ever imagine, and hearing somebody tell you that it 'happened for a reason' can become almost an insult. But there certainly is still a way to look at things a little better than you will at first:
Growth. Development. Moving forward.
Take your situation and blossom from it. Take it, accept it, and then turn yourself into something much greater from it. Everything you do and everything you have ever experienced, whether that be terrifying, regretful, scarring, challenging; it is a little piece of your pathway that is leading you into the direction of your life. People come from all different sorts of backgrounds and stories, but it wasn't until closer to the end of their lives that they were the strongest. This usually is because they have learned so much along the way and dealt with so many situations that they wasted so many hours 'regretting' and not trying to see any positivity out of their situation. It is when they have battled their wars and collected their wounds, that they will know better.
I wish you luck on your life pathways! Don't forget to keep looking forward and enjoy the moment you are at that is shaping you into a much strong person.
Love and hugs,
