As a bunch of you from my 'poop troop' know, I recently received a reward from YouTube. The reward was given to me for achieving 100,000 subscribers on my channel. I won't lie, I was aiming for this number for quite some time because I've always had the dream to hold an award with my name on. (I speak about this in a video I will attach to this blog post).
But since having received this award and making that video, it made me think a little bit. Mainly about goals and reaching achievements. Similar to what I speak about in the video. But this time, I thought to myself... what if we all received an award every time we had reached something we had been working for? Perhaps that would make us more motivated to do the things which we had been procrastinating to do for so many years? Perhaps we would wake up feeling more determined and excited to get on with our day?
But then it dawned on me... We do! We really do achieve awards once a hard-working goal has been accomplished. But it doesn't come in the post. It is never presented to us by somebody 'important'. But we can still see it and feel it! That's because reaching success can open us up to hundreds of new and well earned opportunities. Reaching a desire kicks us up the butt to get on going with our next one. It says to us; 'Hey! You did it. You tried and tried again and you did it!'. Without accomplishing something once in your life, you are never going to move forward, collect your opportunities, and want to achieve something awesome again.
Just because the particular dream you are trying to fulfil doesn't end in a trophy or a fancy plaque, that does not make the dream any less desirable. Your hard work isn't going to waste and all of it will be worthwhile in the end... I promise. Keep your mind in that finishing result and the accomplished feeling you will experience will be better than all of the medals in the world.
Love and hugs,
