It is that time again! The end of the month - and the beginning of a new one!
This time we reach February. Meaning that I have a variety of favourites during January to talk about; the majority of these being some goodies I was given for Christmas! So lets get straight into it…
Obviously, I just had to include this beauty into my favourites. Mainly because I cannot stop sniffing, hugging, and stroking him (yes, he really does smell of strawberries!) I would like to introduce you to my new Lotso bear; he's larger than the average one and came from the Disney store! It was given to me for Christmas from my boyfriend. Almost every single time I am having trouble sleeping, squeezing my arms around his squishy body and receiving a whiff of his scent sends me right to sleep. I couldn't imagine seeing my bed without him in it now - even though he was originally planned to sit with my ever-growing Toy Story collection! Disney Store
Next up is a top which I have been wearing a fair few times throughout January, and receives many compliments! This particular top is one I have wanted for a while… It of course has an alternative version of the beautiful Disney mermaid herself - Ariel from The Little Mermaid! I always love looking at people's artistic versions of her character on Tumblr and various other places, so having it on a top is really awesome. It also being black means that it suits a lot of my other clothes - because nobody likes taking out their cupboard's contents as they can't find matching clothes… eBay
Embarrassingly, I have almost lived in this top throughout the entire of January… but I have good reason! It is so damn comfy. This t-shirt is a slightly baggy and slightly amazing piece of Eminem merchandise. If you cannot see from the photo, it reads: 'Will The Real Slim Shady Please Stand Up?'... As a big fan of him that I am, I was so chuffed to see my boyfriend had bought me this for Christmas. I believe you can grab this in Primark if you head there quickly. If not, try eBay! Primark
I couldn't make a January favourites without including my biggest purchase this month! I am just so stoked to have a brand new TV in my room so that I don't have to force myself to roll into the front room during the early hours of the morning to watch my favourite TV shows. *Cough cough* This Morning, Loose Women and Jeremy Kyle… I have loved being able to snuggle into bed at night to watch late night TV too. I am looking forward to making use of the built-in DVD player too; I am sick of having to use my laptop in bed for that! Argos £230
We have a few items coming up of which I found whilst in the January sales! Regretfully, I only went sale shopping once, but I managed to pick up a few bits and bobs in this session. First up of course is a blue denim type shirt from Select. The sleeves of this shirt can be long or short, but I have kept mine rolled up each time and much prefer it that way! The shirt does up with poppers, and there is a fake darker blue pocket at the front. The colours are slightly gradient at the back of the shirt and I adore piecing this together with other dark bits of clothing. I grabbed this £5 cheaper than the original price! Select £15.00
I don't often go into River Island because of the price of their clothes, but I can never help myself when I know there is a sale because the clothes are just gorgeous! So whilst popping there during the January sale, I managed to find this interesting pair… The print of these skinny jeans are borderline floral, but remind me a little like something a hippy-ish…? I'm no fashion guru so I'm probably way off, but it's just the way I always think when wearing these! This piece of clothing may be something a little different, so I would like to see what you think of these in the comments please! I managed to bag these for half of their original price! River Island £15
Lastly from the January sales, I grabbed these boots! They are everything I love on a boot - brown, buckles, studs and a heel. Unfortunately, these boots don't click as much as I would have liked them to when walking in them (am I the only one who LOVES that…?). These gorgeous suede shoes were picked up at the little price of just a tenner, too! Store Twenty One £10.00
Here's a weird favourite. But one that I couldn't not include. Lipton Iced Tea! Have you tried this stuff? I am obsessed with it! I cannot stop finding myself in the nearest shop buying an ice cold Iced Tea (with the additional straw - for some reason it tastes that bit nicer with one)… You can get these drinks in either Peach, Lemon or Green Tea I believe. I love them all but peach tops them. I just wish more shops did the Green Tea flavour as I only know of one place very far from home that supplies them. Try any if you haven't already though! Supermarket £1.30
There we have it - my obsessions of January 2014! Perhaps you share an obsession with me? If not, let me know in the comments what you are enjoying at the moment. I would love to hear them! To see the video version of this blog post however, you can find the video linked below from my channel.
Love and hugs,
