"How did he know so many answers, I didn't even know some of them and I am a GIRL?!"
If you have seen my recent video (I'll attach it below), you'll know that I played a game with my boyfriend to quiz him on his 'female knowledge'. The aim was to basically ask him questions about female puberty. The whole point of it was to find out exactly how much guys actually do know the stuff girls go through.
Me being female (obviously), meant that I could quiz him, but one day, it would be cool to be quizzed myself. I wonder how much I know about the average male growing up as a kid. Then, this got me thinking about the comments you guys were leaving...
This definitely isn't something I would want my boyfriend to feel weird about. I mean, someone could feel a little out of place if they unusually knew about something some other guys don't. But it made me wonder if we should be more aware about the other gender. I mean, we're probably going to spend the rest of our lives with a partner of another gender. Especially if you get into relationships early on in your teenage years. If they start crying over spilled milk one minute, and then freaking out over a distinct lack of chocolate the next, you're going to have a little problem trying to work out what exactly is going on if you don't know what hormones are.
I myself feel like understanding what goes on in an average male mind would help me out a lot. But is it a necessity? Should we be purposely educated about the other gender and what they go through as well as ourselves? I remember my sex education teacher shooing all the boys from our classroom when the lesson begun so that we could all be taught separately depending on our gender. But perhaps understanding each other a little more could help us get along better when we end up living with a overly hormonal woman or an occasional extra horny man (haha!)...
Just my little thought of the day. Comment your own opinions below please! I have recently enabled a Facebook comment function on my blog so you can now all post comments through your existing Facebook accounts! Yay.
Love and hugs,
